Light is a wave or a particle? IT DEPENDS!

When you zoom out it becomes simple enough. When you zoom in it becomes complex again.

Have you seen a fabric, be it cotton or silk, under a microscope?

Zoom in and you will see a beautiful pattern of criss-cross. Zoom in more and you will see chaos and confusion. Zoom in more and beautiful pattern emerges again. Zoom in more and again chaos. And so on.

What is happening?

The subject is the same i.e. the fabric is the same. None of its properties have changed. The object or the observer, i.e. the microscopic view, has been changed or modified. Hence, the anomaly.

Apply the same thing to light. Can we say that light has no inherent properties? Can we say the properties of the observer are projected onto light?

Observer changes how light behaves, right?

Light does not have spooky properties.

Nature is not evil. Existence is not beneficial

It’s all neutral

The vantage point makes all the difference, right? Einstein realised and re-introduced special theory of relativity.

Sound is sound or silence?

Sound is both.

Pure sound will be inaudible or deafening. Sound alternated by silence is audible.

Blackhole is blackhole from this vantage point. Maybe on the other side it’s a whitehole.

Everything has an opposite

In fact, I would go out on a limb to say everything has an opposite except that one thing.

Matter has anti-matter. Heads has tails. Black has white. King has queen. Happiness has sadness. Rich has poor. Done has doer.

But “IT” has nothing. How can “IT” has anything as opposite?

When I tried explaining before that “IT” is formless I meant, it is property-less.

“IT” does not have any inherent nor out-herent property, not even when observed.

You can not define such a thing without using tautology.

Whenever someone asks you what is light, say ‘it depends’

Or someone asks you what is life, ‘it depends’. Or what is happiness or purpose of life or meaning of life or any of that non+sense. Or if someone gets oversmart and asks what is sense. What will you say?

IT DEPENDS!

Moral of the story

No observer. No world. No observer. No Soul.

No observer, no Earth nor Galaxy nor Universe nor Parallel Universe. Not even Blackhole.

So, in a way, Observer is all-powerful or all-mighty, right?

Without observer, nothing is possible. Nothing exists, it seems.

That means observer is THE THING, isn’t it?

Yes, I…………………

That’s why the eastern religions, especially sages of Hinduism have been saying this for eons. “Sakshi” aka “Observer” is the answer.

That’s what Quantum Physics is also hinting at.

Will it be able to ‘prove’ Observer one day? Like with a mathematical equation or something?

I doubt. But who knows!

Maybe AGI coupled with Quantum Physicists can arrive at a unified theory to prove “IT” exists. Who knows!

But think about it, “IT” or OBSERVER exist that’s why we exist, isn't it?
