A chapter in the iconic book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill called ‘The Power of Master Mind’ had the biggest impact on me.

I am drawn into any book, story, or article that has something to do with the mind or how it works. So, I was naturally tempted to read this chapter.

It emphasizes the role and the importance of the power of the Master Mind.

First of all, let us understand what is power and why is it required?

It can be defined as the focussed effort and structured knowledge, which is required to transform plans into actions. There are three different sources of knowledge: infinite intelligence, the greatest of all sources of power, accumulated experience, and experiment and research.

Now, what is a Master Mind?

When two or more people’s minds integrate and resonate in perfect consonance to achieve a definite goal, then the state of Master Mind is achieved.

You can draw on the power of the Master Mind by surrounding yourself with like-minded people or by drinking from the elixir of spiritual energies accumulated as a result of the union of two or more minds.

Just like the combination of two or more batteries will give you more power than a single one, similarly, the union of a number of brains, which are in resonance, will yield more thought energy than a single brain.

Affirmations from the chapter

I wrote the following affirmations so that they have a positive impact on my mind and help me in the long term.

  1. I will fuse Power with Faith, Desire, and Persistence to attract and accumulate wealth.
  2. Power is nothing about organized and well-directed knowledge. I have the required knowledge, and I will regroup it and channel it correctly to attain and retain wealth.
  3. I will encourage other people to cooperate with me in perfect consonance to achieve the desired goal.
  4. I will surround myself with Master Mind groups to get motivated and inspired to do great things.
  5. I am aware that Infinite Intelligence is the greatest source of all knowledge, and I will use it to my advantage.
  6. I have the burning desire to transform my plans into actions and hence get rich.
  7. I know that any man who has amassed great or modest fortune has consciously or unconsciously tapped into the power of the Master Mind, and I am focussed on doing the same.
  8. I am resolute to collaborate with like-minded people because that will yield more thought energy than a single mind.
  9. I will draw upon great men's intelligence, experience, knowledge, and spiritual forces to gain fortune and success.
  10. I am determined to convert my definite purpose of desire for money into its monetary equivalent.

Bottom Line

This very chapter requires a re-read to reap the full benefits. It’s our mind that can make our life heavenly or miserable. So, it is imperative that we work on these affirmations and make ourselves wealthy in the truest sense.

I can not recommend it highly enough.
